Venerable Ananda
Founder, Chairperson & Producer
Venerable Panadure Ananda Thero is a Sri Lankan meditation master, author, and spiritual teacher, widely known for his short and accessible approach to profound spiritual truths. He is the Chief Meditation Master of YMBA Colombo and has inspired many through teachings on mindfulness, emotional healing, self-understanding, and liberation from suffering.
As the author of Forbidden Love of a Buddhist Monk, The Liberation Manual, Mirage of Desires, and Reality of Existence, he explores timeless themes such as the Buddhist concept of Anatta (non-self) and the path to inner freedom.
His vision is to create a new genre of cinema that entertains, inspires, and awakens audiences while offering a deeper understanding of themselves, the nature of existence, and the human experience.
